       Normal situation
 
Permanent backround ventilation or rapid ventilation by opening the windows or doors every 2 hours to achieve recommended air change rate of once every 2.5 hours to keep air at healthy.
 
 The result

Constant change in air quality which at times can exceed healthy levels as a result of smoke, excessive CO2 and other pollutants. Heat loss 50-75 % of heating requirement.
 

 
 
     Recommended air exchange
 
A rate of once every 2.5 hours is recommen-ded by the German Standards Institute (DIN).
